A hunter, long of limb and fierce in countenance, ventured by moonlight into the hollow where Ghrem and Lae dwelt with their sons. Ghrem roused his family from their beds and took hold of Len, while Lae clutched wee Sceg. Thus they fled into a thicket some distance from their cottage until the stranger had departed from their midst.

I’m endeavoring to level up my mini-painting skills. Here is my take on Hugo Weaving as a Southron thaen (captain). Why the creepy eyes? This fellow’s ancestry is part spirit-folk!
