A Vaporous Realms Publishing update for subscribers
Greetings, y’all!
The book of Ecclesiastes is one of the primary thematic inspirations behind the story-cycles of the Vaporous Realms. And the best-known part of that book, thanks to innumerable speeches and sermons and the Byrds, is chapter 3, which begins, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
In the spirit of that scripture, we need to take a little time off from most Vaporous Realms Publishing activity, including here on Substack—because, Wright be praised, the House of M. B. Heywood grew by two a week ago! In this season, our twin blessings deserve and require many of the hours previously devoted to writing and the sleep needed to write.
Here’s what this looks like:
automatically extending all paid subscriptions through the end of August for free
June — a hiatus from activity on Substack and Instagram (though unlockable episodes of Zshurii’s Song will continue publishing to Kindle Vella)
July — posting the last four fragments of Zshurii’s Song
August to September — for free subscribers, a short trial period of complimentary access to our archives; then, for paid subscribers, posting the revised Len novella in full before the ebook release!
September to October — weekly snippets of Delfii’s Song
