I’ve gone quiet here for the most part this summer, creating stuff and meeting readers of all stripes at local events. I decided to double down on the principle of posting when I have something substantive to offer, not merely to maintain a schedule. Now, at last, I’m ready to share my latest endeavor.
The details are in the video, the fun way. But here’s the bottom line about who might be interested in following the campaign now and pledging at any tier, however modest, come Friday, August 28:
Folks who play tabletop RPGs or wargames and would like some unique, hand-crafted, easily stored terrain cover.
Folks who haven’t read the Daughters of the Rising Sun novella I published in the spring and would enjoy a spiffed-up version, as either a special paperback or an ebook.1
Kickstarter campaigns are my new default mode of releasing books and tabletop stuff. As it happens, my creative endeavors are my livelihood now, not a hobby or side gig, which means I’m completing, publishing, and sharing a lot more of the book-length stories, RPG scenarios, and other tabletop stuff I’ve been dabbling at the last few years.
